Marjorie Wang, MD, MPH is Tenured Professor of Neurosurgery, Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Chief Clinical Transformation Officer, Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and Quality for Neurosurgery; Director of the Complex Spine Fellowship Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin; and Chair of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. She attended Brown University and obtained her MD from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Wang completed neurosurgery residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. She then moved to Seattle where she joined the faculty at the University of Washington and obtained advanced training in public health and health services as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar and at the University of Washington School of Public Health. In 2005, she moved to Wisconsin to pursue further in-depth clinical training in complex spine before joining the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a board member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Past Chair of the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves. Dr. Wang is also a alumna of the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM) Program for Women.
Dr. Marjorie Wang’s clinical practice and research focuses on spine, patient reported outcomes, quality of care, and health services. She has particular interest in cervical spinal disorders and imaging techniques. Dr. Wang is passionate about the role of surgeons in leadership, quality, and patient advocacy.
