Sahir S. Jabbouri, MD is a third-year orthopaedic resident at Yale University, School of Medicine. He was born to an Assyrian Iraqi family who escaped war in the Middle East and moved from country to country until finally settling in the United States. He completed his undergraduate studies in molecular biology at the University of Washington. He went on to earn his medical school degree from Washington State University. Dr. Jabbouri is pursuing a career in spine surgery. He aims to improve the lives of his patients through a combination of surgical skill, medical knowledge, and compassionate care. His research interests include pediatric and adult spinal deformity. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife and son.
