Nicolas "Nico" K. Goff is a second-year medical student at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School (Class of 2026) interested in neurosurgery. He was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology. His primary interest is brain tumors as well as the applications of spectroscopy during resection. During his third year of medical school, Nico plans to research the applications of Raman spectroscopy for glioma resection under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Orringer at NYU Langone Health. In his free time, Nico enjoys playing on several local soccer teams, playing the tenor saxophone in a community band, and spending time on Lake Travis with his friends.
