Karissa Yamaguchi has a BS in Genetics and Minor in Public Health from Texas A&M University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Medicine. She has a special interest in underserved medicine, specifically with immigrant patients and people with insecure housing. She aims to improve health equity through providing excellent direct patient care and by making systems more accessible to patients.
