Richard G. Fessler, MD, PhD is professor of Neurosurgery at Rush University Medical Center. His clinical and research interests are focused on the development of minimally invasive spine surgery and stem cell transplantation for the treatment of acute spinal cord injury. He has published over 35 textbooks and 300 peer reviewed manuscripts in the fields of neurosurgery and neuroscience.
