Tanner Zachem is a Ph.D. student at Duke University in the departments of mechanical engineering and neurosurgery under Dr. Patrick Codd and Dr. C. Rory Goodwin. His research focuses on the development of a novel system for in vivo non contact tumor identification and classification. His other research interests include developing computer vision models for surgical training. After his Ph.D., Tanner plans to attend medical school as part of his physician-scientist training.
