Adham Khalafallah, MD is a Neurosurgery resident at the University of Miami. He is originally from Alexandria, Egypt. Dr. Khalafallah graduated summa cum laude from Alexandria University School of Medicine. He continued his scholarly pursuits at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Khalafallah served as the Co-Director of the Neuro-Oncology Surgical Outcomes Laboratory at Johns Hopkins. In addition to mentoring and leading a diverse team of medical researchers, he published over 75 peer-reviewed scientific papers. He amassed numerous awards and honors in recognition of his clinical and research efforts, including the A. Earl Walker Outstanding Fellow Award, the national Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society Postgraduate Fellowship Award, and the Rosmoff Neurosurgery Resident Award. Dr. Khalafallah has a special interest in spine vascular malformations and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients affected by spine tumors.
