Jovanna Tracz is a fourth-year medical student at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, pursuing neurosurgery. She completed her undergraduate degree at Boston University where she studied hospitality administration, business, and dance before transitioning to medicine. She conducts neurosurgical research on spinal disorders and brain tumors under the guidance of Johns Hopkins Department of Neurosurgery, and studies the effects of deep space radiation on neurocognition and fine motor control at her home institution. In her free time, Jovanna enjoys dancing ballet, exploring new arts and foods, and playing with her dog.
