Originally from Autlan, Jalisco, Mexico, I am a licensed Medical Doctor from the University of Guadalajara. I recently completed my Neurosurgery residency at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in February 2023, participating in the program at "Centro Medico Siglo XXI" in Mexico City.
After graduating, I worked as an attending neurosurgeon at the "Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social" for six months before relocating to Phoenix, AZ.
Currently, under the guidance of Dr. Ali Baaj, I am serving as a Neurosurgery Research Fellow at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix / University of Arizona. Throughout my time here, I have consistently demonstrated a passion for pushing the boundaries of neurosurgery and contributing to the creation of new knowledge in the field.
My primary interests revolve around improving outcomes for spine pathologies and skull base conditions. Described as capable, decisive, and self-motivated, I am particularly drawn to areas such as minimally invasive spine surgery, nerve tumors, craniovertebral pathology, and degenerative/deformity correction surgery.
