Dr. Jonathan J. Lee is a current Spine Fellow at the Barrow Neurologic Institute under Dr. Juan Uribe. He completed neurosurgery residency at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Lee earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2010, studying Biology. He then spent two years in Aiea, Hawaii teaching public school science through Teach For America. During this time, he earned his M.Ed.T from the University of Hawaii in 2012. Dr. Lee then earned his M.D. from the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island in 2016. He will complete his Neurosurgery residency in 2023. Dr. Lee will begin a post-residency fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Complex Spine at Barrow Brain and Spine in the Fall of 2023. He will then join the Neurosurgery faculty at Houston Methodist Hospital as a spine surgeon in the Fall of 2024.
