Thérèse Weidenkopf is a second year medical student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine presenting her research with the Oregon Health and Science University Neurological Surgery Team as the 2023 Campagana Scholar. Weidenkopf graduated Summa Cum Laude from Roanoke College (Roanoke Virginia) in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Theatre. She also received the Senior Scholar award in Biochemistry and Theatre as well as Honors in a Biochemistry major and Honors in a Theatre major. In medical school, she has served as the student president for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons VCU chapter and the student president for the AMA and Medical Society of Virginia VCU chapter. She has also received the Joseph Collins Foundation Medicine and Art Scholarship.
