Dana is a third-year medical student at Duke School of Medicine. She conducts research under the mentorship of Dr. Rory Goodwin and Dr. Melissa Erickson. Her research interests relate to quality of life and health disparities amongst patients with spine pathologies. Prior to attending Duke, Dana graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2019 where she studied Neuroscience and Medicine, Health & Society. After graduating, Dana spent two years working for the Commissioner’s Office of Major League Baseball doing healthcare administration and collaborating with team physicians on sports medicine research projects.
