I am a 4rd year medical student at the University of Michigan. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, where I attended college, after which I spent an AmeriCorps year in Chicago working to mitigate the neurodevelopmental effects of lead on a community level. Throughout medical school, I've cultivated interests in pediatric neurosurgery, neurologic tumors, philosophy of medicine, and bioethics, and I aspire to pursue these interests in residency and beyond.
