Michael J Strong MD, PhD, MPH, MS, a neurosurgical resident at the University of Michigan, grew up in Flint, Michigan where football was a large part of my childhood and college. He attended Kalamazoo College for his undergraduate studies, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. He attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, where he obtained both his masters of Science and Public Health degrees. He then attended Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he obtained his Medical Degree in addition to his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Sciences. After graduating medical school, Dr. Strong matriculated in a neurosurgical residency training program at the University of Michigan where he is currently in his 6th year of training. He has an interested in spine with a focus in spinal oncology.
