Daniel M. Hafez, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis, Associate Program Director
I completed my neurosurgery residency at Washington University in Saint Louis. I then completed post-residency fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at UPMC. My area of interest is in advancing minimally invasive techniques and technologies to treat all pathologies of the spine through the use of endoscopic, microscopic, or percutaneous approaches. My research focus is reducing the impact on muscle firing pattern mismatch by minimizing alterations in normal patient physiology.
