Karthik Papisetty is a second-year medical student at the University of Minnesota. As a part of the BA/MD Joint Admissions Scholars program, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota, graduating with a BA in human physiology. He is on a dedicated path toward neurosurgery with a specific interest in spine surgery, guided by a sincere passion for contributing to the field of medicine. With several years of research experience, Karthik's work has delved into neurosurgical topics such as vestibular schwannoma, idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus, and isthmic spondylolisthesis. Through these endeavors, he seeks to make valuable contributions that may impact patient care and treatment outcomes. Recognizing the value of mentorship, he is always eager to connect with individuals who share his passion for neurosurgery. In his free time, Karthik enjoys playing tennis competitively, weightlifting, and reading.
